Style Ideas - Pinterest

To gain a better understanding on what kind of style I wanted for my regional magazine, I explored a variety of different images on Pinterest that related to my interests towards my magazine. As my research has progressed I am now planning to create a surrealist photo shoot occurring in a forest style environment, like many of the photographs (pictured below) that I have looked at. I have looked into the idea of surrealism to make my regional magazine more unique and interesting, therefore appealing to my chosen target audience. I have planned my photo shoot based on my inspiration with surrealist photography, and I am hoping that my own photo shoot will be as equally successful and effective for my regional magazine. This is why I have carefully considered genre conventions and will try to successfully apply them to my own photography.
